K&R is a London based slow fashion brand that began in 2020 as two childhood friends selling vintage clothing from our bedrooms.

After selling vintage for 3 years we began designing & manufacturing our own clothes in 2023. Through our ongoing experience with vintage clothing, we have gained a unique perspective on how fashion has evolved throughout the decades. We see firsthand what has been overproduced, only to be discarded a few years later, and what has truly stood the test of time.

We use this experience to inform every stage of our design & production process. From initial design & fabric sourcing to manufacturing, our goal is to produce pieces that are timeless, unique & ethically made.

Sustainability & transparency have always been at the core of everything that we do, from keeping vintage clothing in circulation to manufacturing our own designs. All our designs are handmade in London, almost exclusively from deadstock & natural fabrics that would otherwise go to landfill. Local production allows us to directly oversee & ensure the fair & ethical treatment of everyone involved and we use limited runs & pre-orders to avoid overproducing.
