what is pre-order?
Unfortunately, overproduction is a massive problem within the fashion industry. At K&R we embrace sustainable practices and work in small productions to ensure less waste and environmental impact.
Pre-order models allow us to judge the demand for our products before we go into production, preventing us from unnecessarily overproducing clothes that may not sell. They also allow you, as the customer, to make more mindful choices about what you buy.
The date that a pre-order is due to be ready will always be noted within the description. In most cases this will be 4-5 weeks but please keep in mind that these dates are estimates and can be pushed back if there is a delay with production. If there are any significant delays with your pre-order then we will contact you with updates. After placing your order, the next update you will receive is a shipping confirmation email containing tracking details.
Our designs are handmade in London by a small and very talented team of seamstresses. They work as quickly as possible to get them done without compromising on quality and details. We are so grateful to all our customers who love what we make enough to wait for it.
If you are in the UK and you order a pre-order item along with an item that is available for immediate shipping, they will be shipped separately.
If you are outside of the UK and you order a pre-order item along with an item that is available for immediate shipping, both items will be sent together once the pre-order item is ready. If you need something urgently then please place separate orders for pre-order & ready now items.
